Trim Options

There are four trim levels for the Edge, the SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST. Moving up through the levels adds both performance and aesthetic options, so buyers can add the detailing preferences and engine power they want. All trim levels have an eight-speed automatic transmission, although there is an overdrive and auto-manual option on some trim levels. Most trims hover around a combined 23 miles per gallon fuel efficiency.

The SE, SEL, and Titanium trims all come with an inline-4 two-liter gas engine capable of 250 horsepower. The ST trim sports a V6 engine with 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, capable of pulling up to 3,500 pounds.

The most economical among the trims is the SE, boasting 21 miles per gallon in city driving and 29 miles per gallon on the highway. The SE and SEL come in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive options, with other trims offering all-wheel drive for your driving experience around Argos, IN.

Bold Exterior

Two air intake grilles in the front bumper characterize the bold look of the Edge's exterior. Chrome touches lend an eye-catching detail to points around the car's exterior. There are up to 10 exterior color choices, the highest number belonging to the SEL trim level, with the base trim offering a choice of six colors.

A five-pointed star shape gives subtle design to the hubcaps. The standard wheel size is 19 inches, although there is an option for a 20-inch wheel.

The spacious interior seats five passengers easily, with bucket-style seating in the first and second rows and a bench seat for the rear. With the seats up, there's a spacious 39 cubic feet of cargo space, which extends to a full 73 cubic feet when the rear seat lays flat. Two interior color choices give the sleek interior stylish definition, from the leather-wrapped steering wheel to the meticulously crafted seating upholstery. A rotary gear shift simplifies driving while saving space.

Advanced Safety Features

The intersection of safety and technology in the Edge focuses on driver assistance features that make the everyday minutiae of driving easier. A network of both cameras and sensors are placed strategically to monitor surrounding drivers and objects.

When in reverse, a cross-traffic warning occurs when the Edge senses pedestrians or objects in close proximity in Argos, IN. Sensors use ultrasound to easily guide the driver when parking in a challenging parallel spot. The vehicle will also monitor driving patterns and alert the driver if the car strays outside its lane, reducing accidents caused by driver fatigue in and around Culver, IN.

Tech Features

Other technology features include wireless charging for the members of the front seat, so all devices remain at peak capacity. The 10-inch touchscreen is set into the dashboard, remaining easily visible to both front seat occupants.

There are USB ports located in convenient areas for other passengers. In addition to syncing your smartphone to gain access to a particular playlist or app, you can also use Amazon's Alexa assistant for all the useful utilities you enjoy at home, such as ordering items, leaving messages for family or friends at home, scheduling reminders or using voice activation for navigation or traffic reports. Use the FordPass system to remotely access the vehicle, from controlling the door locks to starting the engine.
